Five Days in Iceland

There is something magical about Iceland that has always attracted me to it, and yet I have never visited. Maybe it’s the rich desolation and emptiness that appeals to the loner in me. This video, part of a travel series by Joern de Jager, leaves me longing to go there all the more. Some unmissable shots using the Phantom quadcopter, would have been impossible without a Hollywood budget just a few years ago, to quote Joern;

We spent 5 days in Iceland in December. We tried to do and see as much as possible so rented a 4wd and drove along south coast from Reykjavik to Jökulsárlón.

It’s a great country wich you really can’t compare to any other country in Europe. We saw beautiful falls, lots of ice and snow and so much more. We even had the luck to see the northern light a few times.

I really hope to come back because there’s so much more to see.
